How to Play Basket Random
Two wobbly players, one ball, one hoop each. Every press of your single button makes your player jump and swing their arms — that's the entire control scheme, and it's exactly why the game is fun. First team to score five baskets wins the match, and every point reshuffles the court: new heads, new outfits, sometimes a new sport-adjacent prop.
- Player 1: W — jump and throw
- Player 2: ↑ — jump and throw
- Touch: tap your half of the screen
- Winning: first to 5 points; a two-player match on one keyboard is the intended way to play
Solo works too — the second player is bot-controlled, and the bot is exactly as chaotic as you'd expect from a ragdoll.
Tips & Strategy
- Release at the top of the jump. The throw happens as your arms swing through; time the press so the swing peaks near the top of the jump arc, not on the way up.
- Defend by existing near the shooter. Your flailing limbs are the best block in the game — jump as the opponent throws and your arms do the rest.
- Don't spam the button. Rapid taps make your player hop like a broken toy and lose every loose ball. One deliberate press per possession beats five panicked ones.
- Chase the rebound, not the shot. With physics this silly most shots miss; being the one standing where the ball lands scores more than shooting from anywhere.
- Expect the court to change. Courts, player heads and even the ball swap between points — reset your aim after every score instead of repeating the same jump.
